Fit Guidelines
  • Close Fit: Use when highly accurate positioning is required and parts are match-drilled or CNC machined to tight tolerances.
  • Normal Fit: The default choice. Provides enough clearance for standard manufacturing tolerances while maintaining joint integrity.
  • Loose Fit: Use for sheet metal, multi-part assemblies, or when compensating for thermal expansion mismatch.
