These Terms of Use apply to your use of Machinist Central (machinistcentral.com), including its calculators, G-code utilities, articles, handbook pages and Community Hub. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Engineering and safety disclaimer

The calculators, tables, G-code generators and articles on this site are provided for general information and as a starting point for your own work. They are based on standard formulas and published reference data, but results depend on the inputs you enter and on assumptions that may not match your machine, tooling, material, workholding or setup.

• Always verify results against your tooling manufacturer's data, the relevant standards and your own experience before cutting metal.
• Always prove out generated or modified G-code safely (single block, reduced rapids and feed, dry run or simulation) before running it on a machine.
• Do not rely on this site alone for safety-critical, structural, pressure-containing or load-bearing applications. Consult a qualified engineer.
• Follow your workplace's safety rules and the machine manufacturer's instructions at all times.

The content is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Machinist Central is not liable for any loss or damage, including scrapped parts, tool or machine damage, lost production or injury, arising from use of the site or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

2. Using the site

You may use the tools and content free of charge for personal and commercial machining work. You agree not to:

• Copy, republish or sell substantial parts of the site's articles, tables or code as your own.
• Use automated tools to scrape the site in a way that degrades performance for other users.
• Attempt to interfere with the site's security, accounts or services.
• Click on advertisements dishonestly or encourage others to do so.

3. Accounts

Some features, such as saved shortcuts and posting in the Community Hub, need a free account. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity under your account. We may suspend or delete accounts that break these terms.

4. Community Hub content

You keep ownership of what you post, but you give us permission to display it on the site. You must not post content that is unlawful, abusive, hateful, sexually explicit, spam, misleading, or that infringes someone else's rights. We may remove posts and comments at our discretion. 5. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the site's text, graphics, calculator code and layout are owned by Machinist Central. Product names, standards and trademarks mentioned on the site belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only.

6. Advertising and third-party links

The site is supported by advertising served by Google AdSense. We do not control the content of individual ads and do not endorse advertised products. 7. Changes

We may update the site and these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
